The to the investment related costs allow to have a significant effect on the costs of bottling with respect to the annually produced bottles. Manual bottling and corking requires a smaller investment but much more production time and translates in higher costs and also in higher physical fatigue. An over dimensioned bottling monoblock requires a much more onerous investment, which translates in much higher bottling costs as well as worth noting adjustment times (for the set up of the bottle format and determining the level) besides the necessity to have some trained persons, which normally is not less than three.
The Quinti monobloc can easily be run by only one person and therefore with labour costs reduced to the essential minimum.
The operations to adjust the machine and its washing are very simple, so permitting a fast bottle format change and the use of different types of liquid; this turns out to be particularly advantageous for typical producers as in the cases of a lot of small and medium businesses.
The small dimensions of the monobloc and the presence of casters allow to move it easily in the workshop and to put it away in case it is more suitable when the work is finished. The originally occupied space can in this way be used for other activities.
The possibility to bottle when and as much as necessary allows to manage the purchase of the bottles and corks in relation to the real need and thus avoiding forced stockpiling, so saving on costs.
Thanks to the use of special self lubricating materials it has been possible to reduce the maintenance operations considerably. In fact the machine works totally “dry” without the use of wine or grease. Thanks to this, the problems related to contamination as a result of lubrication agents are avoided. Besides, also the possible formation of oxides, which are characteristic for some materials in natural state like for instance bronze , as well as all those impurities deriving from the friction of metal parts which are in contact with each other, are avoided. In addition to the attention given to moving parts our company dedicated particular attention to the grippers which compress the cork before being pushed into the bottle. The appropriate use of polymers, specific for the food sector, has avoided the use of bronze as an anti friction material.
